Included Scheduled Vehicle Servicing
Included vehicle servicing is limited to scheduled servicing covered under the applicable manufacturer service plan for the relevant chassis. It does not include all vehicle running costs, repairs, maintenance, wear and tear items or unscheduled service work.
Included vehicle servicing is subject to the applicable manufacturer service plan, schedule, kilometre limits, terms and conditions for the relevant chassis manufacturer.
Servicing must be completed within the manufacturer’s required time and/or distance intervals, whichever occurs first, and must be carried out by an approved authorised service provider for the applicable chassis manufacturer in order for the servicing benefits to remain valid.
Applicable service plan coverage includes:
Fiat service plan: up to 2 years or 96,000km, whichever occurs first.
Ford: up to 2 years or 20,000km, whichever occurs first
IVECO ServiceBond plan: up to 2 years or 100,000km, whichever occurs first.
Volkswagen service plan: up to 4 years or 40,000km, whichever occurs first
Service intervals and covered servicing items may vary depending on chassis manufacturer requirements, vehicle model, engine type and operating conditions. Included servicing covers scheduled servicing items only, in accordance with the applicable manufacturer service plan and recommended maintenance schedule as per the vehicle owners manual.
The servicing offer excludes:
Warrant of Fitness (WOF) or Certificate of Fitness (COF)
Consumable items or wear and tear components including, but not limited to, tyres, brake pads, brake discs, clutch components, wiper blades and wheel alignments.
Repairs outside standard scheduled servicing.
Damage, misuse, accident repairs or non-manufacturer approved modifications.
Fluids or additives outside standard scheduled servicing requirements.
Servicing work completed outside approved authorised service networks.
COVI Insurance & Roadside Assistance
Two years COVI Insurance is subject to COVI Insurance underwriting acceptance criteria, policy terms, excesses, exclusions and conditions.
TrailLite Group does not guarantee insurance acceptance. Insurance is issued by the relevant insurer and is subject to COVI Insurance’s underwriting criteria, policy terms, excesses, exclusions and conditions.
The included insurance applies to standard private-use, non-commercial policies only and excludes permanent living or full-time residential use unless specifically approved by COVI Insurance. Additional premiums or policy conditions may apply for non-standard usage.
For year two, TrailLite Group will contribute an amount equivalent to the standard renewal premium calculated on the original policy basis and policyholder details. If the renewal premium increases due to changes in driver details, claims history, vehicle use, storage location, cover requirements or other underwriting factors, the customer will be responsible for any difference.
To continue receiving year-two insurance benefits, customers must renew their policy with COVI Insurance at the end of the initial 12-month policy period in accordance with COVI’s renewal process and requirements.
If an insurance policy is cancelled by the customer during the promotional period, no refund, credit or cash equivalent will apply for any unused portion of the promotion.
Insurance cover does not include personal contents insurance for customers living in the vehicle unless specifically added to the policy. Additional charges may apply.
COVI Wings Gold Roadside Assistance is applicable to eligible active COVI Insurance policy holders only and remains valid only while an eligible COVI policy is maintained.
Annual Habitation Checks
The promotion includes two annual habitation checks in accordance with TrailLite Group recommended inspection schedules.
Habitation checks must be completed within the applicable inspection period and carried out at an authorised TrailLite Group Service Centre located in either Pukekohe or Christchurch.
The promotion includes inspection labour only. Any repairs, maintenance, replacement parts, consumables, rectification work or warranty-excluded items identified during habitation inspections are not included unless separately covered under the applicable warranty.
Additional repair work, rectification items, maintenance items or replacement components identified during habitation inspections are not included as part of the promotion unless otherwise covered under warranty.
Road User Charges (RUC) Contribution
The promotion includes a Road User Charges (RUC) contribution equivalent to 20,000km for the eligible vehicle’s applicable RUC class and rate at the time of handover.
TrailLite Group may provide this by pre-purchasing RUC, reimbursing the customer, or applying a credit at vehicle handover.
Any Road User Charges beyond the included 20,000km, or subsequent changes in RUC charges that require re-purchase/refund are the responsibility of the vehicle owner.
Fuel Contribution
The promotion includes a fuel contribution to the value of $2,000.
The fuel contribution will be provided in the form of fuel vouchers, fuel cards or another equivalent method determined by TrailLite Group.
The fuel contribution is non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and must be used in accordance with any applicable supplier terms, conditions and expiry dates.
TrailLite Group is not responsible for lost, stolen, expired or unused vouchers, cards or credits, except where required by law.
General
TrailLite Group reserves the right to amend, extend or withdraw the promotion at any time before a customer enters into a qualifying signed sales agreement and pays the required deposit.
Any qualifying customer who has met the promotion criteria before withdrawal or amendment will remain entitled to the promotion benefits, subject to these terms.
TrailLite Group reserves the right to substitute promotional inclusions with an equivalent alternative of equal or greater value where required due to supplier availability or circumstances beyond TrailLite Group’s reasonable control.
TrailLite Group’s decision on eligibility, application of the promotion and interpretation of these terms is final, acting reasonably and in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights customers may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other applicable New Zealand law.
