Mid Winter Expo - A sign of the growing industry

The weekend started with a crisp -1 degree frost covering the TrailLite Expo Yard but with the heaters on inside the motorhome and caravans, the superior insulation featured across the TrailLite range and the hot soup flowing, everyone quickly thawed out and got into the swing of living their lifestyle dream. People flocked through the gates from 9am on Saturday to enjoy some good old fashioned TrailLite hospitality and as a family owned and operated business they sure know how to treat their crew and customers like family. The company’s strong commitment to family values were more than on show with Katie Newman, wife of Managing Director Pete Newman and five of their grandchildren managing the BBQ and serving up the hot soup and sausages.

Hundreds of people attended the expo weekend showing the growth in the industry and the increasing number of people turning to TrailLite to assist in helping create their lifestyle dream. We here at TrailLite have been saying for over 60 years that motorhoming and caravanning is the perfect way to holiday and each year we see more and more people wanting advice or guidance on how to get into their first or next motorhome or caravan. It was even more reassuring to see so many new faces and so many excited people looking to motorhoming and caravanning for this year’s family holiday.

A key part of the weekend is the always popular essential need to know seminars which run across both days. Over 70 people attended our need to know seminars which is all about getting you clear about what we here at TrailLite call the dream and we want to help people avoid making an expensive mistake by getting them clear about what product they need, in order to make their dream a reality. We also offer this seminar in the form of a one on one consultation with one of the product specialists at TrailLite. It is a no-obligation needs assessment with the aim of helping you walk away with a clear picture of what product will help you best in your next on road adventure.

Another popular part of the weekend is factory tours showcasing the special and unique TrailLite build process which sees designing and manufacturing of motorhomes right here in Aotearoa. The factory tours are always popular as they help to show exactly what TrailLite offers and the love and craftsmanship that go into building every unique motorhome. We take pride in what we do and always welcome the opportunity to show people our sophisticated design and excellent functionality.

We were also grateful to have members of the NZMCA counties branch in attendance to help patrons connect with the industry and learn from the wealth of knowledge and support that the NZMCA offers. Pauline and Jeff are TrailLite owners as well as enthusiastic and knowledgeable NZMCA members and we would like to extend our gratitude to them as well as every NZMCA representative who supported us through their attendance at the TrailLite Mid-Winter Expo.

TrailLite is now looking to the Spring Expo to be held on the 8th and 9th of October at TrailLite 77 Paerata Road Pukekohe. However If you would like to do a TrailLite factory tour or needs assessment before the Spring Expo in October please contact TrailLite by emailing newsletter@traillite.co.nz or phoning on 09 238 6869.
